Presentation at ALK Conference, Salzburg

From November, 21st-22nd 2013, international researchers met in Salzburg to hold a conference on Appreciating Local Knowledge (ALK). The joint paper by Thomas Kurz (Austria-China) and Thomas J. Lampoltshammer (PhD student at the Doctoral College GIScience) was presented in St. Virgil/Salzburg to the international research community. The paper presentation Local Stories as a Driving Force for Intercultural, Corporate Development showed not only how storytelling could enhance intercultural corporate development, but also how this information could be enriched by adding geographical data.

Thomas J. Lampoltshammer presented a first prototypical implementation of a digital storytelling tool, which acts as the basis for further research. Find here the full citation as well as the abstract of the publication.
